They provide useful services & cool people work there.

I really recommend CREAN beuse firstly, not only are the individuals who work there very passionate about their jobs, they also have great community initiatives and diverse events which bring youth together.

They work tirelessly to provide edutional tools and resources to promote success. Being a student is hard and CREAN ensures they give you a little leg up.

I think what CREAN does is great and helpful. The fact that it's done for non profit is amazing.

Innovation starts with young and pable minds! Sometimes it feels like you are on your own when at university but it's comforting to know that there are organizations to help and support in shaping our ademic reer as well as our minds!

"I worked for and later was on the board of VIPIRG in the late 80s and early 90s. It was an invaluable part of my edution. It also contributed strongly to UVic through its resources and advocy. At a time when this concept was new and radil, we started and ran a recycling program on mpus, eduted everyone on what that was, and created a classroom kit so teachers could teach kids about recycling. We also convinced the bookstore to sell recycled paper, the feteria to use real cups, etc., and the university to improve facilities for those who biked to school and to create rpooling parking spots. And much more, including critil interfaces between students and the broader community."
